Adult Sunday School
Every Sunday morning, groups of adults meet in Sunday School classes to enhance their spiritual growth and enjoy fellowship with other Christians. Here at First United Methodist, we have classes for any demographic group, with many different class personalities and styles.
ALDERSGATE COUPLES (ages 20-40) - 9:30 a.m., Room 333 — A class of couples, some with young children. Studies focus on Christian life, relationships, Biblical and social concerns.

CANA DISCIPLES (ages 40-60) - 9:30 a.m., Room 332 — A class of couples. Studies focus on Christian life, relationships, Biblical and social concerns.
COVENANT (ages 60+) - 9:30 a.m., Room 331 — A class of couples and singles, who are interested in applying the Christian faith to social concerns and contemporary issues.

CREATIVE COUPLES (ages 40-60) - 9:45 a.m., Room 321 — A small, friendly class of couples and singles. Studies focus on relationship issues, Biblical topics and current social concerns.
DOWNTOWN SINGLES (ages 60+) - 10:50 a.m., Room 340-341 — A large group of singles. Studies focus on issues related to being single, Christian faith and contemporary concerns.

GENESIS COUPLES (ages 20-40)- 9:45 a.m., Room 351 — A class for young couples with an emphasis on studies for personal growth, Biblical study and fellowship.
GOOD NEIGHBORS (ages 40-60) - 11:00 a.m., Room 334 — A class for those with children, elementary to adult age, exchanging ideas on various Biblical and social issues.
IN-DEPTH BIBLE STUDY (all ages) - 8:30 a.m., Room 350 — A Bible study class for singles and couples of all ages.
Led by Dr. Lamar Smith.
INQUIRERS (ages 60+)- 9:30 a.m., Room 352 — A class that studies various Biblical, Christian faith and contemporary issues.
JOURNEY (ages 20-40) - 10:00 a.m., Room 230— A class for young singles and young couples. Discussions include a variety of topics from Bibical to contemporary.

LOYALTY (ages 60+) - 9:30 a.m., Room 334 — A large class that studies various Bibical, Christian and contemporary issues.
NEW HORIZON SINGLES (ages 40-60) - 9:30 a.m., Room 231 — A large group of single adults. Studies include lifestyle issues, the Bible and Christian faith.
NEW PASSAGES (ages 60+) - 11:00 a.m., Room 352 — A class of couples and singles with studies for personal growth, psychological insights, and community/societal issues awareness.
PARTNERS (ages 20-40) - 9:45 a.m., Room 320 — A class for couples, singles, and divorcees. Studies focus on God's word and how to apply it to daily life.
SOJOURNERS (ages 60+) - 9:30 a.m., Room 335 — An active group of couples and singles who are interested in social issues, current events, and Bible study.

TRINITY FELLOWSHIP (ages 40-60) - 9:30 a.m., Room 340-341 — A class of career singles and single parents. Discussions include a variety of topics from Biblical to contemporary issues.
TWOSOME (ages 60+) - 9:30 a.m., Room 154 — An active class of couples and singles interested in the Christian faith, the Bible and Christian social concerns.
VERIDITAS (all ages) - 9:30 a.m., 270 Foundation Building — Couples and singles of all ages. Veriditas is Hildegard of Bingen's word for "the greening power of God.". The class is about exploring spirituality from a variety of traditions and perspectives.

WESLEY BIBLE STUDY (all ages) - 9:30 a.m., Room 350 — Couples and singles of all ages who are interested in lectures on Biblical and Christian faith topics. Led by Dr. Ron Ballard, a religion Professor at TWU.
